Sanad Foundation is committed to upholding the highest standards of transparency, security, and compliance in all aspects of user interactions with our services. This document serves as proof of user consent for data collection, communications, transactions, and service usage. By utilizing our services, users explicitly agree to the terms outlined below.

1. User Consent for Data Collection and Processing

By creating an account and using the Sanad Foundation application, users consent to the collection, processing, and use of their personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Name, phone number, and email address for account creation, authentication, and communication.
  • Payment details for processing transactions through Stripe (handled securely by Stripe; Sanad does not store payment information).
  • Device information and app usage data to improve service functionality and security.
  • Any additional information voluntarily provided by the user for engagement with Sanad’s services.

Users may withdraw consent at any time by deleting their account, after which all personal data processing will cease, except as required by law.

2. Proof of Consent for SMS Communications

Sanad Foundation follows strict compliance standards regarding user consent for SMS messages. Unlike purely automated processes, Sanad encourages verbal consent for SMS invitations between Users. Below is how this process works:

User Consent – Opt-In You must have permission from each Recipient before you send any Messages to such Recipient through the service. If you do not have permission to send Messages to a Recipient, you must not send any Messages through the service to such Recipient.

Verbal Consent Among Users

  • The Inviter (Sanad user) explains Sanad’s purpose to their User, describing how the app can connect people to vital resources and real-time assistance.
  • The Inviter explicitly states they would like to send an invite text and clarifies that the Invitee can reply YES to join or STOP to decline.
  • If the Invitee verbally agrees, the Inviter proceeds to send an SMS invite.
  • If the Invitee declines, the Inviter respects that decision and no SMS is sent.

Verbal Consent Among Users

Inviter:

“Hey [Invitee]! I’ve been using this awesome app called Sanad—it’s a community-driven platform to Give directly, impact personally, trust fully. I really think you’ll love it and find it super helpful!

I’d like to send you a quick text invite with more details. All you need to do is reply YES to join, or STOP if it’s not for you. Does that sound good?”

Invitee – If They Agree:

“Yes, please!”

Inviter – Confirmation When They Agree:

“Awesome! I’ll send the invite text right away. Just reply YES when you get it to confirm your enrollment. I’m really excited for you to experience how Sanad can make a difference!”

Invitee – If They Decline:

“No, thanks, I’m not interested.”

Inviter – Response If They Decline:

“Totally understand! If you ever change your mind or want to learn more about how Sanad could help, just let me know. I’m here for you!”

SMS TEXT MESSAGING SERVICES TERMS

The following terms govern the use of the Sanad SMS program:

Overview

By using Sanad’s SMS services, you agree to receive text messages related to service invitations, installation instructions, and one-time passwords (OTP). Message frequency may vary.

User Registration & Phone Verification

  • To create an account, users must provide a valid phone number. A one-time passcode (OTP) will be sent to verify ownership.
  • By entering this OTP, users confirm consent to receive authentication-related SMS.

Secure Login Authentication

  • OTPs are used to verify identity each time a user logs in, ensuring account security and preventing unauthorized access.
  • By using OTP-based authentication, users consent to receiving authentication SMS messages.

User Invitations

  • Sanad Foundation sends SMS invitations only when initiated by an existing registered user.
  • Users must have permission from each recipient before sending any messages through the service. If permission is not granted, messages must not be sent.
  • SMS will not be sent if the user does not use the app.

User Control and Opt-Out Mechanisms

  • Recipients of a verbal invite who are not interested can simply decline before any SMS is sent or reply STOP upon receiving the invite.
  • If a user wishes to stop receiving SMS messages from Sanad, they can reply “STOP” to opt-out. Upon receiving the request, a confirmation SMS will be sent, after which no further messages will be sent.
  • If a user wishes to stop receiving authentication SMS, the only method is to delete the Sanad account (as OTP-based login is integral to the Service’s security model).

  • Standard message and data rates may apply for SMS communications.
  • These charges are determined by your mobile carrier and your specific mobile plan. Please contact your wireless provider for details regarding your messaging or data charges.

Carrier Liability

  • Mobile carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

  • Your privacy is important to us. For details on how we handle your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

3. Payment Processing and Financial Transactions

Sanad Foundation integrates Stripe for secure payment processing. By making a donation or transaction through our platform, users consent to:

  • Payment processing via Stripe, including the collection of card details (entered manually or captured via camera).
  • Adherence to Stripe’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, which govern payment handling.
  • Applicable fees or charges disclosed at checkout.

Users acknowledge that disputes regarding payments should first be directed to Sanad Foundation, and if necessary, to Stripe for resolution under their dispute policies.

  • Standard message and data rates may apply for SMS communications.
  • Users are responsible for charges based on their mobile carrier and plan.
